The New Orleans Ronald McDonald House opened in December of 1983. It is a beautiful, homey, 15-bedroom home with a huge kitchen and dining room, two laundry areas, a toy room, two dens and an outside patio area—plenty of space for guests to make themselves at home and visit with each other.
Our Interim Executive Director is Corey Staehle. We also have a Front Office Administrator, Helen Stone; Communications Manager, Steve Faure; Events Coordinator, Rachael Bissell; Guest Services Agent, Brianna Foster; Housekeeper, Xiomara Mendoza; and Drivers, Charles Wright and Eugene Thibodeaux.
The staff of the Ronald McDonald House of New Orleans is warm and loving. When they arrive for work, the families are foremost on everyone’s mind, to help make everyone who stays at the house as comfortable as possible. We have a happy House that brings smiles to the faces of the children as well as the families who bring the staff the reward for working in such a wonderful environment. That’s why the Ronald McDonald House is called their “home away from home.”
